Pamela Stashak

Hi!  My name is Pamela Stashak, formerly Cheetah Black and I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my web page.  I live in Huntingtown, Maryland.  I'm a musical artist and a self-taught guitarist who plays 6, 7, and 8 String.  I've never had lessons besides using self-help books in the past. Playing guitar is my passion and though I'm not a very technical player, I play by heart.  Feeling is everything to me and it's what drives me to create the sound you hear in my music.  I enjoy listening to all types of music, but the music that drives me mainly to playing guitar is Alternative Rock, Hard Rock and Metal on many levels.  My favorite group in the world is Deftones and they have been my favorite since the beginning.  They are my Idols.  I am a "Deftones Fan for Life" and will forever be inspired by their music.  

I love heavy guitar riffs with a melodic sound/vocals.  It's very hard and edgy--a beautiful sound to my ears with massive power.  I love it and it's a part of me deep inside that I love to get out.   Though I write, compose, arrange, produce, and perform my own original music with the use of a drum machine, my guitar, and vocals alone, I consider myself a guitarist first and foremost.  I'm pretty much a "one woman band" but I'm open to joining forces with others to create a band if possible that will consist of an awesome drummer and bassist.  But for now, it's just me, myself, and I.  I plan to get my original music out to the public to the best of my ability, especially in the form of playing live to the public in as many places as possible.  I believe that's the best way for anyone to perfect their craft. 

Please feel free to check out my original music when you have the time.  What you hear is what you get when I perform.  I always want my music recorded in that manner because I want the audience to experience the same sound when I play live as they hear in audio.  That's important to me as an artist.  There's one more thing I would like to add:  Rest in Peace to the Original Bassist of Deftones "Chi Cheng" our Beautiful Angel Above.  As your fan, I miss you, I love you, and I honor you always.  Again, I thank those of you who are taking the time to visit my page.  Many blessings to you all.  OneLove and Keep Rockin \../
